Welcome to the Village of Warsaw

Welcome to the Village of Warsaw website. We hope you will find our site interesting and informative. On our site you will find information about our village government including minutes of board meetings, a directory of our boards and members. We also have a calendar of events which we encourage our residents to utilize to publish upcoming events. You will also find a facebook page where you can voice concerns or make comments.

Our goal with this website is to make our village government more accessible to our residents and to inform those from outside our community about our beautiful Village in the Valley. We hope you will utilize this important tool to stay informed and to participate in our local government.

Update from the Mayor

Jun 11, 2020 - 08:22 AM

We are certainly living through some very challenging and difficult times.  I want to take an opportunity to thank everyone for their patience and their cooperation with us as we manage our village affairs through this pandemic.
It is with great sadness that we had to make the decision to cancel our swimming and recreation program for this summer.  The logistics of coordinating a program while trying to enforce social distancing rules and protecting the health and welfare of our children was simply not feasible.  While the pool area is closed this year however, we will take the opportunity to engage in some much needed maintenance and care of our pools and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next summer.
We are looking forward to opening our playground and park rest rooms in the near future.  We believe that this will be possible when our region enters into Phase 4 of the opening process.  Once open, we will be performing daily disinfections on the playground equipment and rest rooms.  There will also be hand sanitizing stations available and social distancing will be required to the best of your ability.
It is the intention of the village administration to reopen our village office on June 22 to walk in traffic.  You will notice changes in our office space.  The office has been reconfigured to allow two customers in the office at a time and still maintain social distancing.  Masks will be required for entry.  We have also installed a 24/7 drop box next to the office door as well.  Until June 22, the office will continue to operate as a no walk in office but you may contact our clerks, Department of Public Works and Code Enforcement personnel by calling 585-786-2120.
Again, thank you for cooperation and patience.
Stay safe,
Joseph P. Robinson, Mayor
