To Warsaw Village Residents

The following is an update for our residents with regards to village operations for the near future due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Warsaw Village office at 15 South Main St. is closed to the public for walk in business until further notice.  At this time, the office will be staffed during normal business hours, Monday-Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm.  Requests for birth and death records may be made by phone at 786-2120 or by mail to Village of Warsaw, PO Box 49, Warsaw, NY 14569.  Birth and death record applications may be downloaded from our website, www.villageofwarsaw.org (see documents).  Water/Sewer payments may be made by mail.

Our Code Enforcement/Zoning Officer may be reached at 786-2120.

The Warsaw Village Police Department office at 67 West Buffalo St. is also closed to the public until further notice.  The department is fully staffed and may be reached by calling 786-2000.

The Warsaw Fire Department at 40 E. Buffalo St. is closed to the public until further notice.  The phone number for the hall is 786-2468.  In an emergency situation, call 911.

The State of New York has required all local governments to reduce their workforce by 50% in effort to minimize the spread of the coronavirus.  In compliance, the Department of Public Works, Water Department, and Waste Water Department will be staffed at 50% until further notice.

These are difficult times, but it is our goal to continue to serve you to the best of our ability.  Bear with us.  Be Patient.  Our administration and employees are working hard.

Please join us in continuing to support our local businesses.  They are the life blood of our community.  Restaurants and taverns are closed to eat in service but take outs, deliveries and curb side service are available.

Don't forget to say thank you to your local grocery clerk or sales associate and especially to our healthcare workers and first responders who are on the front lines of this crisis.  They are our family, our friends and our neighbors.

Please continue to check here for updates and information.

Be safe,
Joseph P. Robinson, Mayor
